Part of what's kept me going with my own newsletter is publishing alongside you and other writers in our little newsletter writing community. It's been a lot of fun engaging with you and others (or at least, what I consider to be engagement, which isn't very much, lol).
It's been fun seeing how far you've come, and I look forward to more!
@Livio: Sure thing. The illustration is showing that the "creative" process is messy whilst the production of a newsletter can be more procedurally-driven.
So, whilst I have a process for putting the newsletter together, the "fun" part is trying to make that compatible with figuring out what to write for each module of my newsletter. A few times it's a flash of inspiration and I'm in the flow. Other times, I'm having to battle through trial and improvement whilst bearing in mind the impending publication deadline I have to meet.
That deadline is part of the procedure and isn't going to wait for me to be inspired.
Yeah. I’ve mixed opinions about this. Forcing writing is good. But I need to be in a good state of mind. In that case, forcing can help creativity.
However, if I write because I have to, the outcomes might not be the greatest (both in terms of enjoyment and of output). I’m still often forcing myself, but not sure if I should.
Systems > Goals
You can feel the confidence in your smile.
Thanks Jennifer. And definitely systems wins out every time.

Appreciate that Alvin. Same goes for you though I'm still working my way to writing as concisely and succinctly as you!
Can you explain the Behaviour Gap illustration?
P.s.: nice catch on the rock video ;) Keep writing. And hitting the rock, little by little.

Some comments I received in this thread are interesting… https://substack.com/profile/6147133-livio-marcheschi/note/c-15982404
P.p.s: how did you create the Notes section on your publication?
I have tried to add /notes to my url, but I get nothing: https://livmkk.substack.com/notes
I was given an option on my dashboard to add it. It was when it stopped prompting me to invite my readers into Notes.
