Out of curiosity, was your father tough on you growing up or was he more of a "laissez-faire" kind of father?

My Dad was definitely tough on us growing up in the usual sense that he wanted us to have a better life than he did. As we grew up, we became self-sufficient so I think that's probably where a touch of the "entrepreneurial spirit" comes from though I think of it as "being independent".
