🤔 What is The Forcing Function?

A weekly newsletter where I write about business analysis, demystify what it is, and explain how it can help you.

It’s your guide to delivering the right outcomes for your projects and your users.

Each week I cover:

  • ✍️ An insight on a business analysis topic.

  • 🤔  A visual that made me think.

  • 👨‍💻 One link that’s worth checking out.

🖖 Who writes this?

I’m Sam, a career business analyst with 20+ years experience. I got started by graduating in business analysis at the University of Strathclyde 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, cut my teeth in Accenture's graduate programme, and built up my expertise through in-house and consultancy roles.

Today, I still ❤️ being right in the thick of a project - working with clients get to where they actually need to go.

On a personal note: whilst my family roots stem from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and my family name is more popular in 🇰🇷, I'm a Londoner 🇬🇧 and have been lucky enough to travel to 75+ countries so far. When I'm not travelling, I'm refining my 🇯🇵 cooking skills or having fun on my electric 🚲.
